We have a large parking lot where you can easily maneuver a large moving van. Our units provide you with shelter from the elements. We also provide you with LED lighting throughout the building.

 Where is Wise Self Storage located?

We are conveniently located right on US Hwy 23, Oscoda MI., kiddie corner from the Twp offices. Our location is central for the surrounding areas from Alpena to Au Gres, and as far west as Hale. Our location provides easy access right from the highway. Our address is 4289 N. US-23, Oscoda, MI, 48750.

 What types of storage spaces are available?

We offer a diverse range of sizes, from closets to large units, mostly climate-controlled and a few non-climate-controlled units located inside the rear of the building. Whether you need short-term or long-term storage, we have the right solution for you.

 Are the storage spaces secure?

Yes, the security of your storage unit is our top priority. Our facility features 24/7 video surveillance, electronic door access with individualized entry codes, and well-lit areas. You can have peace of mind knowing that your valuables are protected.

 Can I access my storage unit at any time?

Our access hours are 7am-10pm. You can conveniently access your storage locker or vehicle anytime between those hours. 

 Do you have a rental office with office hours?

Our facility is remotely managed allowing you access anytime during operating hours. We do have an office that will be manned on most Saturday mornings if you would like to see the facility before signing up. If you would like to meet with us during weekly office hours, appointments can be made by calling 248-860-6188.

How do I reserve a storage space?

 Is insurance required for my unit?

Yes, we require insurance for your protection. This ensures that  your possessions are protected from unforeseen events such as theft, vandalism, or natural disasters. We provide you with an option to select tenant protection when you sign-up or chose your own provider.

 Can I transfer my storage space to another person?

 What is the minimum rental period for storage spaces?

 What happens if I need assistance outside office hours?

 What security measures are in place to protect my stored belongings?

At Wise Self Storage, we take security seriously. Our facility is equipped with advanced security features, including 24/7 video surveillance, individually coded gate access, and well-lit areas.

 Is there a light in my unit?

The facility has LED lighting throughout. There are switch plates through out the facility to light your unit’s area. We temporarily ask that you turn the lights off when you exit the building until the motion sensors can be installed.

 Is there power available in my unit?

Unfortunately, we cannot provide power to your unit. This is a safety feature. There are wall plugs present, but the power has been turned off.
